St Lucia's Christ Church Venue

Alma de Tango’s Tuesdays Sessions, starting on the 2nd August 2011 are held at  the St Lucia's Christ Church Dance Hall, 3 Baty St, St Lucia.  St Lucia was the first neighbourhood in Brisbane to host Tango classes and socials. Our School started its first group classes in June 2000 at our now historic “Tango Cathedral” every Friday evening.  Now the bittersweet strains of bandoneón will be heard wafting through the streets of St Lucia again on Tuesdays! 

Tuesday's Schedule:

· Folklore: 7:00-8:00 pm

· Tango Club: 8:15-9:15 pm

· Tango Nuevo style: 9:30-10:30 pm

PRACTICE AFTER YOUR CLASS

There is no need to book ahead or sign up for membership.  1 practice session per week is offered as complementary on our Saturday's Prácticas if you  purchase a 10-Multisession Card. Prácticas follows immediately after the beginners class every Saturday afternoon!
