"PRÁCTICAS DE TANGO, MILONGA and VALS", are dedicated to students and tango dancers of all levels.

For those who don't know, a "Practica", is an intermediate dimension between a tango class and the dance floor. For those who wish to rehearse figures and steps, (with their embellishments, leads, timing, space, etc) recently learnt, before their baptism of fire at the "milonga" (social tango or tango ball).

We carry out this Práctica with a variety of well-selected music, plus the permanent assistance of our School's Instructors, in a stress-free atmosphere.  We happily invite everyone to use their right to make mistakes.

Entry fees are $5.00 or free for those joining in any of our afterwards Classes.  Our venues:

1. Tuesdays: Brisbane's Polish Club.  Time: 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
2. Fridays: St Lucia's Uniting Church Hall better known as "The Tango Cathedral", we offer coffee and tea facilities, included in your entry fee. Time: 7:30 to 8:45 pm.
2. Saturdays: Alma de Tango's Own Dance Studio in Woollongabba. Come alone or with friends for 2 1/2 hours of practice fun.  Time: 4:30 to 7:00 pm.

Our School started the first Argentine Tango Classes and Tango Practice Sessions as early as 1999, becoming the first tango-only dance school in Australasia.  Our Tango Cathedral was the venue of three International Tango Festivals and was visited by many elite and respected tango artists, including musicians and dancers.  There, tango dance classes of all levels were offered by renowned Argentine tango instructors.

If you are unfamiliar with our venues, you may wish to know that in our St. Lucia's "Tango Cathedral" we have taught hundreds of students from all over the world since June 2000. On the other hand the Brisbane's Polish Club, our new Tuesday's location, is a comfortable, fashionable and air-conditioned venue of easy parking and one minute drive to the city centre.
