alón, the elegant, passionate and sophisticated world-wide spread tango style, set by Alma de Tango in a five- class course of 1 ˝  hours each.  This course also includes Milonga, that cheeky, irreverent, cheerful rhythm

 

Welcome back to the dance floor. This is the requested continuation of the previous course “Tango from A to E” This unique series of classes, structured by our School of Argentine Tango, builds on the skills you have already acquired, refining, stylising and further expanding your understanding. We will show you the secrets of this form of expression, which will allow you to dive deep and safely into this dance. 

 

 

The venue: “The Tango Cathedral”, 384 Swann Rd, St Lucia.  Parking on the street.

 

The Program of the Course is summarised as follows:

 

¤ Tango: Review of the “Tango from A to E” course content.

¤ Tango: El Amague, Hamacas.  Simple introduction to choreography.

¤ Milonga: Salidas, Encuentros, Corridas,

¤ Milonga: Amage, La Baldosita. Combinations

¤ Tango: Combinations, Improvisation. Increased complication.

 

Numbers are limited.  Cost: $200 per person.

 

Pre-requisite: knowledge of basics of tango is required to undertake this course.  Preferrable having completed the course Tango from A to E” .    Instructor: Hugo Fernández.

 

This course is designed to the finest tango dance standards and techniques.  Your Instructor, Hugo Fernández, is an expert  dancer whose skills have been refined through a life-long exposure to tango at his home-city Buenos Aires.
